GrAF (= Graph Annotation Format) (Ide/Suderman 2007; Ide/Suderman 2014) ist eine XML-Implementation des Linguistic Annotation Formats (Textformat LAF) und fokussiert auf die Repräsentation von Texten und dazugehörigen linguistischen Annotationen. Texte werden mittels Stand-off-Markup annotiert, wobei die Annotationen selbst Teil eines Baumes sein können, um etwa Dependenzen zu annotieren. Annotationen bestehen aus einem Label und einer sogenannten Feature Structure, die die Einzelelemente – Features – einer Annotation beinhaltet.
Dass nach GrAF eine Vielzahl linguistischer Daten konvertiert werden können, haben Nancy Ide und Harry Bunt gezeigt. (Ide/Bunt 2010)
